Dear All,

Rhythm Eternal is pleased  to announce the school's Spring Students Tabla Recital dedicated as a Tribute to 'Abbaji' - Guru & Maestro, Ustad AllaRakha's 100 Birth Centennial:

Date & Venue: Sunday, May 5th, 2019, Schare Recital Hall, Rutgers University, 81 George Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey NJ 08901

The Spring 2019 - Students' Recital will showcase some finest performances, culminating from months of hard-work, dedication and perseverance both by the organization's younger students, as well as older, and adult disciples. The students have put their heart and soul in to continuous rehearsals and practice; all the while being supported and encouraged by their respective families/parents, without whom this journey would not have been possible.

All through the rigorous physical and mental learning of this classical music art form, the students have been lovingly nurtured, taught and trained in the 'Guru - Shishya Parampara' (the 'Teacher - Student oral teaching tradition') by Lead Teacher, himself a professional Indian Classical and world fusion Performing Artist, and Director of Rhythm Eternal organization, Anirban Roy Chowdhury. Anirban is a foremost exponent of 'Punjab Gharana' Tabla and disciple of Ustad Allarakha - 'Abba Ji', Tabla Maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain and Pt. Yogesh Samsi. (More on Anirban Roy Chowdhury, the Tabla artist can be found at www.anirbanroychowdhury.com

This year's Recital is a very special and emotional Tribute dedicated to and in Memoriam of the 100th birth centennial of our beloved Guru - 'Abba Ji', Tabla Maestro Ustad AllaRakha. Abba Ji's birthday falls on April 29th and marks what would have been his 100th. More on Abba Ji can be found at http://www.allarakhafoundation.org/

On behalf of all students at Rhythm Eternal, we request the pleasure of your presence and company to encourage, support and cheer on these talented young minds; the future generations and torchbearers of our society as they bring the evening alive with sounds of their compositions and 'Peshkar'.

Our recital evening will also be graced in the latter half of the program by the presence of a very special guest of honor.
